Pix AI Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains what Pix AI does with information you give us and information we collect while you use the service. It is written to be read, not filed away. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it in plain words.

2. Who is responsible

Pix AI operates the website at pix-ai.org and the companion chat available through it. Pix AI is the controller of the personal data described in this policy and decides how that data is used.

3. Account information

To create an account we ask for an email address and a password, or a sign-in through a provider you already use. You may add a display name and a date of birth. We do not require your legal name, your address or your phone number.

4. Conversation content

Messages you send to a Pix AI companion, and the replies she sends back, are stored against your account so the conversation can continue and so memory works. They are not published, sold or shown to other members.

5. Technical information

Our servers record standard technical details: IP address, browser type, device family, language, referring page, and the time of each request. This supports security, fraud prevention and basic troubleshooting.

6. Payment information

Card numbers never reach Pix AI servers. Payments are handled by regulated payment providers who return only a transaction reference, the amount, the currency and the outcome. We store that record for accounting and refunds.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Pix AI uses cookies to keep you signed in, to remember interface settings and to measure aggregate traffic. You can remove or block cookies in your browser; sign-in and some preferences will stop working if you do.

8. Analytics

We measure how pages perform, which sections are used and where errors occur. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build advertising profiles about individual members of Pix AI.

9. Legal bases for processing

We process data to perform our contract with you (running your account and chats), on the basis of legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, service improvement), with your consent where consent is required, and to meet legal obligations.

10. Age requirement

Pix AI is strictly for adults aged eighteen or over. We do not knowingly hold data about minors. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, it is closed and its data is deleted.

11. How long we keep data

Account and chat data are kept while your account is active. After deletion, live records are removed within thirty days and backup copies cycle out within ninety days. Financial records are kept as long as tax law requires.

12. Security measures

Traffic is encrypted in transit, stored data is encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed, and administrative access is restricted, logged and reviewed. No system is perfect, but we treat conversation data as sensitive by default.

13. Service providers

We rely on a small set of vendors for hosting, content delivery, email delivery, payment processing and model inference. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions and to protect it appropriately.

14. International transfers

Some providers operate outside your country. Where data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses with additional safeguards.

15. When we share data

Pix AI does not sell personal data. We disclose data only to the providers described above, where you ask us to, where the law compels us, or where it is necessary to defend legal claims or prevent serious harm.

16. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. We answer verified requests within thirty days and never charge for a first request.

17. Deleting your data

You can delete a single conversation or your entire Pix AI account from the account screen. Deleting the account removes your profile, your companions and your chat history under the schedule in section eleven.

18. Exporting your data

On request we provide a machine-readable export containing your profile details, companion configurations and message history so you can keep your own copy.

19. Marketing messages

Service emails such as receipts and security alerts are unavoidable while you hold an account. Promotional email is optional and every promotional message contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

20. Automated processing

Replies inside Pix AI are produced automatically by language models. Automated systems also flag suspected fraud or abuse; where such a flag restricts your account, you may ask for a human review.

21. Generated images and voices

Companion photographs and voices on Pix AI are synthetic. They do not depict real, identifiable people, and no biometric data about members is collected, stored or matched.

22. Public areas

Pix AI has no public feed, follower list or shared profile. Anything you write inside a conversation stays inside your own account.

23. Links to other sites

Some links lead away from pix-ai.org. Once you leave, the destination's own privacy practices apply and we have no control over them. Read their policies before sharing information.

24. Data incidents

If a breach is likely to create a risk to your rights, we notify the competent supervisory authority within seventy-two hours and inform affected members directly with the facts and the steps we are taking.

25. Regional additions

Members in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may complain to their local data protection authority. Members in California may request details of categories collected and disclosed, and may opt out of any sale or share; Pix AI does not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined.

26. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top, and for material changes we notify account holders by email or an in-service notice before the change takes effect.
